How to Use a Proxy With Firefox

For those of you that are banned on some sites or simply need to be "anonymous" on the world wide web here is how to use a proxy with your Firefox browser, because we all know Internet Explorer is junk.

Step 1: Find a Working Proxy
1. Go to AntiProxy.com
2. On the page select Port 80 like in the picture below(click to enlarge) and click the Look Up button.

3. Now you'll get a list of proxy addresses, not all are working(today may work tomorrow may not) you'll have to check by pressing the Check button. After you press check you'll get succesfull or failed depending if it's working or not(there are ALWAYS proxys that work, so search for one if others don't work). For this How To i searched one for you , below is a picture.

Step 2: Open Firefox
1. Click on Tools/Options

2. Go to Network/ Settings

3. Select Manual Proxy Configuration and enter the proxy address i found for you(i used another proxy address in the picture).
4. Check the box Use this proxy server for all protocols and on Port section type 80. Click Ok.

5. Now you are invisible on the net, you have a new identity so no one know who you are. To disable the proxy select Direct Connection to the Internet and click Ok.

Ha ha nice try, I'm not a beginner in computers so don't try it again :)) Don't post links to your site camouflaged as a signature.

Heya

how can i make Firefox link through multiple proxy's at once? i have to go though one to get internet access, how can i go through a second one at the same time to get unfiltered browseing?

Sory i don't know how i missed your comment. Your answer is simple, open two Firefox windows, in one of them set the proxy, on the other let it without a proxy if you want it unfiltered.

If you want 2 proxies, set one on the first window and another on the second window, really simple.
